A baby has come

A sweet little bundle

A new life's begun

With tiny wee fingers

And tiny wee toes

A nose like a button

Your love for him grows

He'll take now the center

For years yet to be

With pleasures arriving

What joy you will earn

For Brendan will teach you

And from him you'll learn

He'll stretch out his fingers

And grasp at your heart

Pull strings you've not thought of

And will from the start

So off you are running

The race you must win

You're raising a baby
