Off my mind is soaring

Chasing every sound

Reason, rhyme and measure

Literally abound

For today with wonder

Everything I find

Speaks to me in meter

Filling up my mind!

Through the day I'll travel

Rhyming as I go

Words and all there meaning

In my head will grow

With tomorrows dawning

All will have been spent

But today I'm writing

Rhyme and reason bent!
