"Nothing More to Dread"

Today I sit before this screen

And think about the day

What pleasures now before me seem

To gather now and stay

To know that all my friends are safe

And loved ones are secure

Contentment reigns upon my heart

I'm peaceful, easy, sure

Jehovah God has kept them safe

Through yet another night

Direction now he's given them

To help them with their plight

And so today they'll carry on

They face the path ahead

For with Jehovah God in tow

They've nothing more to dread

"The Conclusion"

The conclusion is present

The end has begun

The words of our father

Are now being sung

From nation to nation

The cry has gone forth

In hot southern climates

To cold frozen north

God's word is now present

And easily heard

For his kingdom message

is read from his word

So others can listen

And thus be surprised

The old world has ended

The new ones arrived

"Mourning Dove"

The mourning dove is lovely

It has a gentle coo

He's plump and oh so regal

And loves to sing to you

So listen early mornings

For a soft caressing sound

For you are in the presence

Of royalty I've found

He struts just like a pigeon

But of a higher class

Upon his head with honor

A monocle or glass

My favorite bird forever

The mourning dove will be

He's plump and soft and gentle

And such a joy to see!

You will reap what you sow

Jehovah has said

So what are you planting

Do you need to dread?

What are you scattering

That is now the thing

And your harvest efforts

Just what will they bring?

To live for the moment

The world will now say

And seek out the pleasure

Of frolic and play

But you serve Jehovah

And "scatter" his word

Tell others about him

Til all will have heard

So always remember

Your harvest depends

On what you will scatter

The message it sends

So scatter with pleasure

God's word you'll declare

For your planting efforts

Make others aware

So when at the harvest

Your fruitage appears

Will you sing out with pleasure

Or wallow in tears?

"Preaching"

We're preaching to the nations

Teaching of God's way

Help the public know him

By the words you say

Thus teach and preach and listen

Hearing all thier cries

With each and every question

Answers will arise

So to them now a message

The word of God is read

What pleasure they are finding

With pleasures still ahead!

I thank you my brothers

What joy you have brought

We've gathered together

And we have been taught

My spirits were lifted

What joy has been found

Jehovah's direction

know not what to do

But God in his wisdom

Words escape my lips!

Off my mind is soaring

Reason, rhyme and measure

Literally abound

For today with wonder

Everything I find

Speaks to me in meter

Filling up my mind!

Rhyming as I go

In my head will grow

With tomorrows dawning

The end of the meeting

The end of the day

Assembly is over

We'll be on our way

We've gathered together

And listened with care

To others we'll take it

For we want to share

We've learned with much pleasure

The joys now ahead

And God's word of wisdom

To us has been read

We're filled with such wonder

Our faces will glow

Thus as we are leaving

God's pleasure will show

"Religions Time of Judgment"

Christendom will face her fate

Before Jehovah God

Her end is now approaching

He then will use his rod

He'll trample her in judgment

And chase away her charm

To all she will stand naked

No more will she cause harm

He'll wipe away her presence

Jehovah God has said

And sweep away her refuse

For Christendom is dead

So take his word to others

And help them through the night

They'll leave behind the harlot

Escape into the light

And God in all his wisdom

Directions to them give

For perfect is his judgment

Allowing them to live

So take his message forward

To all you now will find

You'll help them find a new world

Thus leave the old behind
